2004 Chrysler Sebring. No headlights, wipers and battery is drained.

2004 Chrysler Sebring. no headlights, no wipers, alternator drains new battery. Some one told me it may be a bad relay switch that is controlling all of these things. My question is could this be a bad relay switch and if so, where would I find it. Also I have checked and double checked all fuses and they are all correct and good.

SOURCE: location of radiator drain plug on 2004 Chrysler

should be on passenger side look up from the bottom and you should find the petcock valve. A work around is removing the lower hose.

My 2007 Sebring headlights, signals, and wipers stopped working and I was told it was the multifunction switch. In the process of waiting on part I received a jumpoff because I left many hazardous lights...

Sounds like an alternator issue. Could be corroded wires at the battery also. When the voltage gets low, things like these will shut down first. Having the flasher on for five minutes won't drain the battery. Jumping the battery put it above the shut down threshold. Have the charging system checked, before replacing the multifunction switch.

I have a 2002 chrysler sebring everytime i turn headlights on the vehicle dies and wont restart i am clueless has new battery runs fine until u turn on headlights

Check the condition and tension of the alternator drive belt. Have a test done on the alternator as it appears that there is insufficient current to cover the large current draw for the lights.

2004 chrysler sebring convertible My battery drain I have the pull the fuse from the starter. So that my battery does not drain.

it may or may not be the starter itself, find out if there is anything else that runs off that fuse and track down all ground wires associated. if all the grounds are connected, you've got a bare or broken wire. probly best to take to a reputable auto electric shop.

My 97 chrysler sebring was running fine, then one day the battery light came on and it died, we replaced the battery two days ago, and the car drained my battery again, i dont know why its doing that!

with the battery fully charged, you need to check the alternator, but first make sure all of the battery connections are clean , and tight,, with a multimeter, set the meter to DC volts,, place the red lead on the positive battery post, and the black one on the negative post, with the car running, you should get a reading of no less than 13.5 volts, if not you have a bad alternator,, if the reading you get is between the 13.5 and 14.5 volts your alt is fine, and you have something else draining your battery ., but keep in mind that if the cables were in bad shape , the alternator couldn't supply the power back to the battery with the loss it had while starting the car , here is a good link to see how to check the cars electrical system
