SOURCE: power mirrors only function right and down, 05 acura TL

I belive you are right in saying it is just the direction switch because i have never heard of both mirrors going out just like each other and at the exact same time. you do not need to go to a dealer to get the switch but you can go to any parts store and get it and this will save you about 25-50% off the acura dealers price

SOURCE: 2005 acura rl had battery with low startup voltage

It may reinizialze its self once you take battery out and put new one in. The computer modulator resets when you take neg. side of battery off. So that should work. If not try asking at Advance Auto or one Auto parts stores.

SOURCE: 1999 Acura 3.5 RL rear driver window won't go all the way up

It sounds like your motor is dying. It take no effort for the motor to allow the window to fall down with gravity, but a lot harder to lift the window back up....

on the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge.

SOURCE: 2006 Acura TL - power windows - Passenger window

most new acuras have what you call an anti pinch sensors which means when there is an extra load on the power window motor, it is picked up by a controll module and makes the window go back down ie, you get your fingers cought between the window and the door frame. sometimes this happnes by its self because either the window is off track and not going up stright thus putting extra load on the motor. or, the window runner track its self (which is mostly rubber) is mislodged. causing the window not to fully rest in the full up position.

Only the drivers window works, first it was the real ones and now the pass. won't work at the door switch

Could be individual switches or the rear may have child safety locks on them--the clue will be usually you cannot open rear doors from inside the vehicle---it (the child locks) will in many cases stop rear windows from working----consult the owner manual or look at inside of rear doors for the slide switch at each door under and near the rear of the armrest.

Had battery replaced. Now the passenger and left rear window will not work from the drivers seat? 2004 RX330

See page 64 of manual...open and close rear window using rear door's window switch. It will reset the driver's door master, which will work as it should.

2000 Chevy Blazer Power windows work from drivers

Are you sure the side window lockout switch located on the drivers master switch isn't on? This will kill power to the other three switches.

If your sure its not on than the I would pull the left rear window switch. There will be two dark blue wires one of them should have power all the time. If neither have power than I would pull the drivers master switch and see if there is power at the dark green wires (one will only have power with the left rear window switch in the up position.

If those are good than check the dark blue wires. one will only have power with the drivers front window switch in the up position. the other should have power all the time. If there is power there than you have a broken wire somewhere. The first place I would look is in the rubber boot in between the drivers door and the body of the vehicle.

If there is no power that the switch is bad.

My rear windows will not raise down..or up on

There is a button on the master switch (drivers) to turn off the rear windows make sure it's not depressed. If not the master switch is probably bad since you lost both rear window control . Power and grounds to the rear switches comes from the master switch.

'00 Ford Explorer - Master window switch won't work rear windows

Without proper electrical diagnostic equipment and based on the very through description that you gave I would suggest getting a new switch. I say a new switch because on the drivers side the switch is one giant junction block. I have the same vehicle and had my door panel off for some locking issues.

I have attached a link to Ford Direct. The part that you are looking for is Window switch, explorer, 4 door, right
