SOURCE: How to start the relearn procedure on a 2009 Chevy

There is a relearn procedure for the transmission but you need a Tech 2 diagnostic with the appropriate software. It only for automatic transmissions. The clutch data is learned which translate adaptive data cells. Which the TCM uses for clutch controls during shifting. This is for the fast learn procedure. There is another method that I will find later

How do I adjust the throttle body

The throttle bodies on most newer cars are not adjustable for its idle speed. If the Check Engine Light is on, go to the nearest auto parts store and get them to pull the error codes from your car's computer. Post the codes back here and we can give you a better answer to your question

2004 chevy colorado throttlle body relearn

I haven't done a throttle relearn. All I have done are plug and play. Ecm controls the throttle thru the pedal position sensor. I've done up to 2010 so far, on various makes and models.

Will the transmission from a 1998 chevy 1500 fit in my 2001 chevy 1500

The transmission in question is called, "4L60E" There are two versions. The 4L60E ran from 1992-1997. Then the 4L60E was updated and ran that version from (1996-2010). In 2002 GM introduced the 4L65E. So YES you should not have a problem fitting a 1998 chevy 1500 with a 4L60E into a 2001 Chevy 1500 with a 4L60E. You didn't mention that both were 2wd or 4wd. You can not convert a 2wd into a 4wd. I hope that helps, good luck.

I have a 2001 chevy 1500 4.3L and i just replaced the starter and now is idling at 500 rpms. what could cause this?

How long has it ran since you hooked the battery back up. It needs to run at least 10 mins. for it to relearn it's idle strategy.

2002 Chevy Silverado, crank sensor installed. can't start truck.

After installing a new crank sensor, a Tech 2 will need to be hooked up in order to complete what is called a relearn procedure on the new crank sensor. Until this is done, your truck's ECM is unable to determine when cylinder #1 is at TDC and electronic timing is unable to be performed. Need to tow to GM dealership for this proceedure.
