The light means the system is powered so the fuse is probably OK. I am not sure about this particular car but there is usually some measure of self test involved as well so it makes me think there may be a mechanical problem. Many systems use a vacuum device to actually adjust the throttle so a loss of vacuum such as a cracked line or a hole in the actuator could be the problem. On my Dodge truck the actuator lives beneath the battery so they frequently corrode a hole and no longer work. One last possibility is the linkage from the actuator to the throttle could be broken or jammed. Good luck!

I did check the vacuum. It all looked good there.

    1. Remove the upper and lower steering wheel trim covers using the following procedure.
    2. Remove the tilt lever assembly.
    • Remove the two pan head tapping screws from the lower shroud.
    • Unlock the upper and lower shroud.
    • Remove the two Torx® head screws from the upper shroud.
    • Remove the upper shroud.
    1. Remove the wire harness straps from the wire harness assembly and detach the wiring harness connectors from the switch side connectors.
    2. Remove the two multifunction turn signal switch screws and remove the multifunction switch assembly from the vehicle.
    To install:
    1. Install the multifunction switch to the steering column. Use a small flat-blade prytool to compress the electrical contact and move the multifunction turn signal switch into position. Verify that the electrical contact rests on the canceling cam. Install the screws and tighten to 62 inch lbs. (7 Nm).
    2. Route the wire harness along the steering column jacket assembly and secure into the wire harness strap. Install a new wire tie to the upper tilt head assembly and another lower along the wiring harness, as the original installation.
    3. Verify that the lever is in the center of the OFF position.
    4. Install the upper and lower steering column shrouds.
    5. Route the SIR connector through the steering wheel, align the scribe mark on the steering wheel made at removal, with the slash mark on the steering shaft and install the steering wheel. Install the steering shaft nut and torque to 30 ft. lbs. (41 Nm).
    6. Install the horn contact leads and the air bag connector to the back of the air bag. Make sure the CPA wedge is in place to secure the connector. Install the air bag by gently pushing on both the right and left sides of the air bag until the retaining springs engage.
    7. Enable the SIR system by connecting the yellow 2-way connector at the base of the steering column and installing the air bag fuse.
    8. Connect the negative battery cable. Test the horn, turn signals and headlight operation.
    1. Disable the SIR system.
    2. Remove the upper and lower trim covers.
    3. Remove the knee bolster.
NOTE The abrasion sleeve located on the steering column wire harness assembly must be reinstalled. Make note of what connector is coming out of the abrasion sleeve for installation purposes.

    4. Remove the wire harness assembly from the wire harness strap.
    5. Disconnect the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly connector from the SIR system coil connector.
    6. Slide the 2 connectors of the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly out of the bulkhead connector.
    7. Remove the 2 pan head tapping screws and from the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly.
    8. Remove the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly from the steering column tilt head assembly.
    To install:
NOTE Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

CAUTION Be sure that the electrical contact of the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly (2) rests on the turn signal cancel cam assembly.

CAUTION The abrasion sleeve must be installed back onto the steering column wire harness assembly. The ignition lock cylinder case wires and connector must be hanging out of the middle of the abrasion sleeve.

    1. To install, reverse removal procedure.
    2. Tighten the following to specification.
      • Top pan head tapping screw: 27 inch lbs. (3 Nm).
      • Side pan head tapping screw: 62 inch lbs. (7 Nm).
CAUTION When performing service on or near the SIR components or the SIR wiring, the SIR system must be disabled. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling . Failure to observe the correct procedure could cause deployment of the SIR components, personal injury, or unnecessary SIR system repairs.

Stabilizer traction control light is on, and lost cruise control

Cruise control will always disable itself when any CEL light is present, so that's normal. The Stabilitrak light problem is a known common problem with these. Your steering wheel position sensor needs to be replaced. Mine does it every morning IF my steering wheel wasn't put into a straight position when I parked it. Straighten the tires, turn the ignition off and restart. Light will go out.
