My camaro won't start. It will make one click sound and then go completely dead. I've already tested the starter, and it's good. I just changed the ignition lock cylinder, thinking it was the same problem as I had before. The battery is also brand new. Any suggestions would be great.

The PASS-Key II® system is designed to prevent the engine from starting if the proper resistance is not sensed from the ignition key. Of the 15 key codes or resistance values available, only one will work with each BCM. Once the key code is programmed into the BCM, the resistance value is stored in a non-volatile memory.
Did your old key have a resistor pellet on the side ?

The starter is not the issue as you say the car suddenly died. That would not be caused by a bad starter or solenoid.
You car needs the battery to be charged to continue to run. While normally the alternator or charging light would usually come on, I think it has something to do with your alternaor not keeping the charge up on the battery. Without a strong charge, there would not be enough power to turn the engine over, which would explain the starter issue.
The fact that you said the battery had been charged overnight and there wasn't enough power to turn the starter over bothers me. While someone has told you the battery is good, I would take it somewhere else for a 2nd opinion. I have a feeling that the battery is at the root of the problem.

check the battery cables themselves. sounds like a bad ground or bad starter.Take it out and have it tested. most Major parts stores will test at no charge. Hope this helps. Please rate my fix as i strive to be the best. Thanks Ray. if you need more help get back to me

You must let the keys reprogram themselves by following a lenghtly proceedure. Turn your key to on position but do not start. Leave it for 10 minutes & then turn key off. Repeat 2 more times exactly 10 minutes & do not start. At this point the key should be reprogramed & be able to start car. You may have to do the same thing for each additional key. The only alternative is to take it to the dealer & have them reprogram the keys. Whenever the battery or alternator is disconnected the keys are affected. Good luck!

Is the ignition switch good? If the starter/solenoid; starter relay, battery and cables are all good that is about the only thing left.
Do you hear a click when you turn the switch?
