How come on my 2005 pontiac aztek if i take out the rear defroster fuse (#21) the light still lights up on my dash and the relay still clicks?? Help why did this rear defroster stop working?!?

I found this. Your heated mirror also works off that relay. You can do ohms test on the grid, if the grid is open, no continuity. The auto store should sell a product to paint over the open spot to restore continuity, if you can find the open spot.
Not trying to cause trouble, just killing time. Have a good day.

Rear drums. which way do the slack adjusters go so they work properly. 1998 sunfire.

the brake adjuster wheels are closest to the rear brake shoe.as you adjust the adjuster wheel it should rotate in one direction only and the brakes should move outward towards the drum and is stopped when trying to turn the wheel in the opposite direction by the bar that is to stop it from rotating in the wrong direction.

There is no relay for your sunfire if I remember correctly. Its just wiring, fuse and a switch.

My turn signal noise is still on sometimes after i've turned, my brights don't stay on, keyless entry not working, and rear defrost not working.

TURN SIGNAL PROBLEM IS THE THE MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH.KEYLESS ENTRY REMOTES NEED NEW BATTERIES.THE DEALERSHIP WILL CHANGE REMOTE BATTERY AND REPROGRAM DOOR LOCKS.CHECK REAR DEFOGGER FUSE AND RELAY.IF BOTH GOOD.YOU HAVE A FAULTY DEFOGGER SWITCH OR OPEN IN THE GRID.YOU CAN BUY A GRID REPAIR KIT AT AUTO ZONE OR ADVANCE AUTO PARTS AND OREILLYS.

The rear window defogger button does not stay in. It use to light up but must not be turning on. No blown fuses. Any thoughts? John W.

The unit may be working, but the bulb inside the switch may be burnt out. If that the case, you will need to replace the switch since there is no replacement lamp for that.

Pontiac Sunfire brake and turn signal on passenger side working sporatically. I've changed the bulb...works, then doesn't. Passenger side rear only....anyone know a cure?

You have an electrical problem. Start with corrosion in the socket.Cleaning the contacts sometimes works. new socket works more.
