that is misfiring,,and has huge causes
try a tune up yet, spark and filters>?
or is transmission slip.
if RPM (tacho)_ goes high fast and not MPH that is tranny slip
the engine has 50 caused for lost power.
we do test top find them, guessing 50 times is FAIL (or broke)

It should be at the top... side of the transaxle
(only the top part showing)...

Prices do vary wildly so definitely shop around.

We have not imported Opel/Vauxhall here (usa) for decades
but the application looks very similar to the VW front wheel drives of the same vintage.

Have you checked the air bypass valve, it may be sticking open and causing a high idle speed.

It might be a transmission to speedo cable, or electrical connection. But most likely a broken gear inside the Speedo. You may find this defect affects many of your model. Google your model "clubs" They may have a solution.

If the fuel pump works, the Relay is Working. But I have never herd of a corsa comfort

these problems are caused by a low voltage problem. battery alternator.

yes it would have been easier to just replace the speedo bullet sensor but since you done all that you can still change the bullet

S reg so is this a 1977 built vehicle ,please excuse my ignorance but when i left the Uk T reg was the latest plate so please state the year as i think this may be sensor type and not a cable

Check that you have'nt knocked the terminal block off the speedo sensor which is on the back of the gearbox housing,Just above the N/S inner driveshaft joint
