My remote locks all the doors on my 2009 chev equinox except the rear passenger door, I have to manually lock it. Same behavior when I try to unlock the doors with the remote, all unlock except the rear passenger door. We can manually unlock the door by switching the switch from inside the car or using the key. It appears the locking mechanism is only unlocking/locking the door half way.
Check for broken wires between door and post.I had this problem use to close by hand.
Lock/unlock motor may be failing. Remove the door panel and remove the connector from the lock motor. Check the dc voltage at the connector while pressing the lock switch. If you see battery voltage, replace the motor. If the voltage is low, inspect the wiring.

SOUND LIKE THE DRIVERS DOOR LOCK SWITCH IS STUCK IN THE UNLOCK POSITION. SINCE THE DRIVERS DOOR LOCK SWITCH OVER-RIDES THE PASSENGER DOOR, I WOULD REPLACE THE SWITCH WITH A NEW ONE. HOPE THIS SOLVES THE PROBLEM. GOOD LUCK. KEEP US POSTED, WE ARE ANXIOUS TO KNOW.

Sounds like bad wiring, or bad door lock actuators. Check for power while locking/unlocking the doors.
