The fuse you need is in the fuse box inside the vehicle. It will be behind a trim panel in the end of the dashboard with the vehicle door open. Check fuses 6 and 7. Some features in a vehicle share a fuse. **Note** ALWAYS replace a fuse with one the same colour and Amp rating.

You don't say what year it is, so here is a list below of who made them. Why? Becase frequently you can get parts from another dealer, cheaper that may help your problem.
Yes you could change over the power-train to something else. I do not know what would fit but you can find the various engine sizes and combo on the net. In doing so you would destroy any value of the vehicle.
