Cut it off from above the converter and behind the converter.Replace the old one with the new one. you might possibly need a small coupling pipe on both sides going from the converter into the main pipe on both ends. you can use clamps but really, you need to have it welded so you have no fumes afterwards.

1995 chevy corsica is been sitting for 3 years, we changed the battery already and used fuel starter, engine wont start still. Pls help. Tnx.

Try removing all spark plugs and crank the engine for a bit to get everything lubed up and it will give u max compression..Also replace plugs and fire some carb or injection cleaner in some high octane gas........Hope this helps.

Sounds like a faulty sensor. Have you changed your fuel filter? Checked all vacuum lines? Any check engine light on?

I have a 1995 chevy corsica. it doesn't want to go and i have the gas peddle all the way to the floor and it has a smell. there is a cloud of smoke coming out of the exoust and also there is a little bit...

Head gasket. Having water in the oil IS NOT GOOD! The cloud of smoke you are seeing is the water vapor. Do not run the engine anymore. You can do a lot of damage. You need to get the head gasket replaced and flush out your cooling system because you probably have oil in your radiator too. You'll probably need a new thermostat too. Hope this helps.
