SOURCE: Connected a 12V battery loader on my Porsche 911

The fuse is on the back of the unit. You need a becker radio tool puller to remove the radio. The tools are inserted into the small slots on the sides of the radio. (example tools: http://www.eagleday.com/porscheaudio.html) My first attempt at pulling a radio from a Boxster required about 20 minutes.

You will also need to reset your radio: http://www.a2dvoices.com/realitycheck/porsche

Why my oil pressure raises while idle, then falls when engine is reved

Likely electrical issue or bad fuel pump which draws excessive amps when reving up thus blowing fuse and creating drain on electrics making oil gauge reading drop.

Wii a fuse blow if the top gets caught in the wind when putting the convertible top up on a Pontiac sunfire convertible

Probably not, but there is a very good chance that it will break the folding mechanism in one or more places.
I have installed tops for over 40 years and have seen that happen several times. It can happen even at speeds as low as 25 MPH.

Convertable top leaks now my car wont start

ssuming the two issues are related, I'm guessing the water leaked somewhere in the dash and shorted some of the electronics. You'll need to get that leak fixed and troubleshoot the electrical system. An OBD tool will help. If you can leave the car in a very dry spot for a few days, see if it will dry out and start after it dries. If it doesn't, check the fuse panel for any blown fuses, replace and try to start again. If the fuses blow again you've got water someplace it shouldn't be but very hard to say with this little info.

I have a 98 chrysler sebring convertible. I just put a engine and new wiring harness in the car. Now the asd fuse is blowing as soon as I put the fuse in. Im not great with electrical issues, can anyone...

All I can advise is that checking any electrical circuit needs a bit of fundementals so that we can probe to confirm. In this case since the mani harness was replaced all what you can do is to go back to all the connecctions and recheck them one by one. Remove the connections to the sections , REPLACE the fuse and then connect them ONE BY ONE, watch carrefully and see which connection makes the fuse blow which will need attention to the component or if the circuit wired is wrong. Use a multimeter to check the short.
Use ONLY rated fuse.

I have a 1990 911 Porsche Carerra 2 convertible. I can't seem to get the top to go back up. Not sure why. The car has the key in the accessory position with my foot on brake and parking brake enabled.

You can always close the top by pulling it up by hand. It pulls hard but you can pull it up and it might require two peaple, and then latch it down. Fuses fail to connect in the fuse panel and the switchs fail as do the motor in the pump that makes the top move. Your right also that if the car doesn't sense that the e= brake isn't on or the is'nt moving it'll not work the top either. Many fuses have to be good for all the systems that interlock the top to work the most common fuse to blow is the cigar lighter fuse as peaple plug in things that short out oftern.

2000 Porsche boxter windows work top won't go down

Good Day,
I just looked at my wiring diagram and see that a fuse from fuse Holder D, Fuse D3,it is a 30amp fuse. I would start here. I may also be a good idea to have a test light if you plan on doing your electrical repairs.

I also see that another fuse connects to your top control unit; it will be fuse B6, 15amp located in fuse Holder B.

Thanks and good luck.
