How to remove 3rd row seat from 2003 montero limited

you have to pull the part you sit on up and forward (to front of truck) then the backs will just fold down sams as trail blazer

The starter is located on the passanger side right next to the transmission,towards the passager seat under the vechile.


In order for you to be able to access it,you have to remove the skid plate to get to it.

The third seat was an option on this model. Your model may or may not have the third seat. You should be able to tell by looking at the floor in the back. Ford may have included the rear cup holders on all models for ease of production.

3rd row, you simply pull the lever which makes the back fold down and then grip the handle located on the bottom and pull toward you slightly hard. They are heavy so it seems like they aren't coming out, just pull hard. second row, you flip all the way up and push with them standing up and they come unhooked. Good Luck! I didn't have any problems, except they are at least 50+lbs!
