need to check for power to the top. also check signal from open/close switch to the roof control module located in the right rear corner of the engine compartment.
is your soft top not working it's not the faulty relay, it's control by electronic control unit, it's call soft top control unit, so first do one thing, open boot and have a look, there are one separation lid which is winding like cover, you must have close your boot separation lid buy pulling it out and hang it on hook which is locate both side back in boot, there are two hooks for hookup the separation roller lid,you pull it out and hookup it on two hooks, and close boot then operate roof if still roof not working it's need to be diagnose because there are many sensors and switches are fitted in this system if one switch or sensor not work your roof will not longer be opening and also there are any hydraulic oil leaking or lack of oil in the pump, it will not work, so in this case you must drive your car to the authorized Mercedes workshop who have the right diagnose tool knowledge for this particular car,
there should be a key in the glove box or in dash, insert in the centre of the roof near the windscreen and twist the roof will open then you need to lift the back part of the roof up and away from the boot then open roof storage compartment and push the roof down into place.
