SOURCE: my honda civic start normaly, but after few minute start losing power

Several causes possible.
Carburattor or injection type?
Carburator >> auto choke faulty.
Carburator >> mixture very wrong adjusted
Drawning carburator (needle/floater)
Distributor weights cannot move (dirt/rust spring broken)
Very dirty airfilter, or clogged airfilter
Faulty ignition cap. Check contacts, especially middle one if oldfashioned and nonelectronical.
Ignition timing set incorrectly.
Fuel pump broken.
Fuel filter blocked almost.
Vacuum line damaged.
Exhaust internally clogged by loose plate (corrossion) (potato in tailpipe effect).
And very seldom, water or diesel.

And a list of a lot of other things.

SOURCE: I have a 1995 Honda Civic. When driving up hills

Check spark plugs and all related cables, fuel hoses, fuel filter (change if black but make sure lines and fuel tank are clean first), and air filter. If blank spots are experienced when power is lost completely then firing of spark plugs may be the issue. Possibly also related to insufficient fuel reaching combustion chamber. Available for more consulation after you do through the above recommended basic checks.

SOURCE: car is losing power and speedometer not working

The alternator is dying...
It is not charging your battery. Don't use your headlights (big power drain) until you have the electrical checked.
AutoZone will analyze (free) w/o removing alternator (IN-CAR test)

Hope this helps, soon!

93 honda civic runs fine untill it get warm then it will jolt and loss power

have the cooling system pressure tested to 20 psi remove the spark plugs & see if any water/coolant comes out of the spark plug holes. You may have a cracked cylinder head or partially blown head gasket.
