Looking for procedure to properly bleed an audi A4 1.8T quattro cooling system as no sign of a proper bleed point on any of the heater/cooling hoses/pipework, car overheated today & blew out some coolant, has ben using small amounts of coolant since i got the car almost a year ago & must've let it get a bit low. Immediately stopped the car & topped header tank when warning light appeared but seems to be air trapped in the system now?

You didn't say what year the car is or what other diagnostics you've done lately...My guess is the radiator core is plugged...If you want to tackle it yourself, buy a Chiltons repair manual at AutoZone or NAPA stores ($25). I suspect you'll have to order the manual.
Good Luck

Anything to look out for when buying a second hand b5 A4 Audi Quattro ?

the timing chains are located at the rear of the motor requiring a transmission removal to replace
If the chains need replacing and the guides and tensioners will be close to needing replacement that is an added cost to be considered
ask service agents and accredited service centers who work on Audi how much that procedure costs

Im looking for the low port to add air conditioning fluid to my 96 audi a4 (non quattro)

You need special adapter , available from dealer only.
Low pressure switch has to be taken out and adapter installed insted.
I also heard rumor that you can charge system through high side at 3000 rpm , but never tried it , sience I have an adapter.

I am about to buy a used 2002 audi a4 5 speed manual with 81000 miles but looking after its problems i m really confused either to buy it or let it go...

If it has a manual trasmisson it may be in need of a clutch and pressure plate so your looking at about $500.00 to $1500.00 in repairs depending on what all you need. They won't be able to tell you all that you need until it is taken apart.

1998 AUDI QUATTRO BATTERY DIED. RADIO IS NOW IN SAFE MODE.

Unfortunately, if I am reading this problem properly, you have a Blaupunkt radio in your Audi. Disconnection from power source and reconnection without proper (un)locking code will result in the permanent disabling of said radio.

It's a common problem in factory Blaupunkt radios installed in Volvo's, BMW's Audi's, etc. A very effective anti-theft mechanism indeed!
