2010 tf 3l diesel po401 reading. why lose power at 100k on freeway

USA car? WK , or WK2?(2011 up)
wk is 2005 to 2010. WG is seen in Europe too.
I own 2010 wk, GAS 3.7L and have all books on it, every one. and more.and all WG and WK2 books.
what is 3L???? is a DIESEL CRD engine.? or this
or some have (3.0L) both digits mater.
Mercedes-Benz OM642 engine 3.0L 2005 to 9 diesel and none sold in USA WK actual.


camshaft cap;. not sure at all what is Cap, (the big NUT or BOLT?)for gear/cog?

tell country ,tell year, or tell VIN, even the dealer will not talk to you blind (text or phone ) lacking a VIN, that is so he does not lie to you.
and sell you wrong parts,books or worse spec torques.


my guess is ask your dealer for the service manual.
in Europe is it?

run fault codes
check and bleed fuel system for air
check fuel control module for operation
is the cranking speed fast enough

Error code 5954 or error code 59 and 54?

Fuel filter air cleaner filter plugged or need a tune up or air sensor in intake line put on computer will tell you right away if you want

Fusses - Breakers

Under the stearing wheel there is a fuse box on the left hand side, remove the pannel. Above the fuse box you will see a wiring harness with a box taped to it. Push all the cables in and test it while your doing it.

I know this sounds funny but it sounds like you ran out of gas. How many miles have you drivin since you filled it up? The gas gauge might not be working right.

sounds likea fuel delivery problem,
try your filters first as they are the chepest and eseyest to change then see how you go use ilimanation! if not then start looking into CO settings in the air meter.e.t.c.

Allways try the obvius simple and cheapest solutions first! theynearly allways pay off.

P.S. the CO settings only apply to the petrol version NOT DIESEL
If it is a Diesel engine vesion, old filters will almost certanly be the cause with out doubt!
