In park warm to hot fluid, into the cross hatch marked area (level ground) if you have a dipstick some gm models just have a cap
the fluid level is checked from under the car there is a small bolt you remove (in tranny by axle ) runs out if full

Your transmission is sealed and has no dip stick, checking the fluid level properly involves using a factory scan tool.

How do i know when theres enough transmission fluid in it. It has a 2.2 engine and a automatic transmission

For some reason there are no dip sticks in transmissions anymore. The easiest way is to service the transmission. Remove the pan and old fluid, change the filter and pan gasket, and refill the system with 7 new quarts of fluid.

Where the transmission dip stick

Hi on most vehicles the transmission dip stick is located at the transmission area, under the hood look for the fan belt, on most it will be on your left hand side facing the front of vehicle, then look to your right and you will see a tube from the transmission with a clip arrangement holding the dip stick in place, carefully push the clip back just enough to release the dipstick, Read your owner manual as incorrect reading or wrong oil can damage the transmission, very expensive to repair some units, if not sure go to your nearest service agent, hope this helps, P

Where do i put in transmission fluid

To prevent overfilling:
Turn on the engine and wait, making sure the engine has reached it's normal operating temperature.
With the engine running, and in Park:
Remove the Transmission Fluid Dip Stick and wipe clean. Reinsert the Dip Stick all the way in and Remove the Dip Stick again. Read the Dip Stick. With the engine at normal operating temperature: the fluid should be between the upper two holes. If not:
Leaving the Dip Stick out,
Insert a Funnel into the Dipstick Hole.
Pour ONLY about a cup (8ounces) at a time, wait for it to drain and remove the funnel, and recheck the level using the dipstick each time.
Do not overfill!
