My back seat will be full of kids and I need to have my niece ride with me up front. She is under 12 and the law requires that I disable the passenger airbag for her safety. I cannot find any obvious turn off switches or key turns.
I doesn't look like you can disable it. The manual says all children should be in the back seat and never in a rear facing child seat in the front seat. manual is here : https://duckduckgo.com/l/?kh=-1&uddg=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dodge.com%2Fdownload%2Fpdf%2Fmanuals%2F2005_PL_Neon.pdf

1. Thoroughly clean the seal and the surface it touches with windex.
2. Apply a semi thin layer of grease to the seal, you don't want alot just enough to transfer to the other surface when you close the trunk.
3. Close trunk completely and then reopen and examine the grease pattern on the surface it touches.
If there is a break or a messy spot (smear) in the pattern that is where the water might be leaking on from.
