My 99 pontaic grand Prix a/c blower started messing up a few weeks ago. First it s would squeal and I would shut it off turn it back on and it was fine. Now it sounds like it is grinding all the time and will squeal really loud every couple minutes. It still blows out some cold air. Any idea what needs to be fixed

Sounds like the blower motor bearing is bad. Probably will have to replace the motor because most of them aren't rebuildable.

99 grand prix, oil level light comes on when first started then after shut off and restart it will not come on for the rest of the driving time ie, running errands

oil drains to pan then takes a few seconds to refill filter upon starting.
It takes a few hours to bleed down like overnight.

I'm looking for the location of the resistor on the blower motor of a 99 pontiac grand prix

If it is the same as a 2002 Grand Prix the resistor is located on the firewall behind the blower motor up under the glove box. You need to remove the blower motor to get to it.
