Where is the fuse box on a 2010 535 bmw. Specifically, the fuse that controls the ac fan.

A lot of times the fuse box is either under the dash or under the hood. If you look under the driver side dash board you may see something that looks like a latch or a small door. Most likely this is the fuse box. Once you remove that, the labels for each fuse should be on a sticker attached to the back of the door. If it is not, you can search it online or find the diagram in your cars manual.

I'd be VERY surprised if the fusebox was located behind the glovebox. Fuseboxes are almost always under the hood, near the battery.

if fan only has high speeed selection only but no other speeds then its probably the fan voltage resistor witch parts cost is about 80.00. or if you dont have any speeds working at all then check the fuses it might be the fan motor or the control panel on dash

Is the lid to your fuse box missing?
The AC fuses are 16, 23, 31, 39. The heater blower is fuse 20. It is hard to describe which fuses those are if you don't have the diagram that is molded in the underside of the fuse box lid, but 20 is the last fuse on the right in the second row.
On a '97, if your climate control computer has not failed yet, you are on borrowed time. The fix is easy and cheap. Google "Frontiernet Farm Boy Home" for detailed instructions on my web page.

Relays 13 and 15 control fan,located under bonnet fuse box

its not a fuse i had the same problem on my 03 x5 it an ac resistor thats at fault it controls your fan once it goes your fan wont come on or comes on intermitently once again the faulty part is a blower motor resistor should be 100 bucs at dealer or if you shop around i got mine for 75 from local parts store (carquest)

Check the temperature control box.

A/C fuses are 9 and 20 located in the glove box. If the auxilary fan is not coming on that will affect ac as well the fuses for that are 7, 22 (in glove box) and fuse 76 which is behind glove box. Does the compressor come on at all? Does the ac switch light come on?

Check the Fuse box, but remove them and check them properly, also replace the Fuse of the FAN even if it looks fine... you can use another one of the same Amp, usualy there are spare one's in the fuse box.
