I have Elandra limited 2011 and the sound for everything went out all of a sudden. I researched and found out to reset. Which I did and it restored sound except my GPS Still haven't figured out why this isn't talking. It works but no sound.

With the newer models come newer problems. You are aware of this I'm sure. What you might not be aware of is the warranty given by Hyundai/Kia and to what extent that honor it. the reliability I witnessed while at Kia/Hyundai was good. They issued some TSBs for the vans and the Sonata/Amanti. They are real good to cover and repair these issues as they arise. One of the tricks is to get to a dealer that 1. you trust and is straight with you 2. is prompt to alert you to maintenance issues and get the necessary repairs done 3. You get a paper trail to give to Hyundai of North America in case the dealer is not doing operations in your best interest. The rep centre in Irvine, CA is really good about getting customer service issues resolved. I know this was not specific to just the A/C system but know that they have been really good to fix as the problems arise thus giving you a long reliable life for the money.

well its either the radio or the speakers ,and the cold can affect electrical components ,more than likely they dont want to change them under warrenty ,bet if you book car in after warrenty runs out they would change them quick enough
