Replace the coil pack. Its a know problem with 4 cyl dodge and Chrysler cars.
$55.00 and your good to go.
I have a 99 neon and had to replace it twice in 120000

SOURCE: 1998 dodge Neon no fire to coil

it sound like you have a bad crank sensor when the sensor gets hot it open circuits inside the sensor and you loose spark if you have access to a noid light see if you are loosing injector pulse also if so then you know its a good chance its the crank sensor

SOURCE: 2001 dodge dakota is just started running on 7 cylinders, i changed spark plugs and coil packs 1 1/2 yrs ago. how do you test a coil pack ?

Since the 5.9 engine uses one coil and a distributor, I will assume you have the 4.7 engine with coil on plug ignition.
The easiest way to test the coil is to move it to a different cylinder and see if the miss moves with it.
Problem could be an injector or something mechanical too.

Buick Lesabre 1999 - 3800 my 1 & 4 coil pack not firing why?

i bet it is the ignition module, have it tested at oreillys or autozone, it is what the coils bolt to, common failure, or possibly a crank sensor

Replaced coil pack on 2000 neon, still no fire on 1 and 4 plug...

The PCM - engine computer has drivers or transistors inside that control the coil's . Three wire's to the coil . One dark green with orange trace is power , should have B+ voltage . The black with gray trace is control side from PCM . for # 1 coil . Testing with a test light . Videos on youtube .

I have a 2002 ford taurus SE, coil pack has been replaced because Advanced Auto ran a diagnostic and said my coil pack was bad. Well its not and im still not getting fire on #3 and #4 spark plugs. changed...

You visually checked for spark and there was none? #3 and #4 show to be on same coil, each coil fires two plugs. Battery has a full charge? The red wire at coil pack is voltage, it has good voltage? Any applicable trouble codes?
The yellow wires with different tracer colors are grounds controlled by the pcm, one ground for each coil. Did you check voltage on ground wire engine cranking? I can't rule out a faulty coil driver in pcm. It's possible your old coil pack damaged the coil driver in pcm? If that is the problem, hope it didn't hurt the new coil pack.

I have a 2.3 93 lx not firing on all 8 plugs each coil pack is firing only two plugs per pack new wires plugs coil packs and computer

Take the Ignition Control Module and have it tested at Auto Zone or Oreillys. If it tests ok, buy a tube of dielectric grease and coat the back of the module and reinstall it. Sometimes that will take care of it. If it still isn't firing right, then it could be the Crankshaft Position Sensor. The new ICM would cost around $90. Not sure about the CPS. Myself, I would go ahead and replace the ICM, even though the old one tested positive. Good luck. I hope this helps.

Number one cyl on coil pack not firing, all others are, codes reads misfire on 1 cyl should i replace the coil pack and how do you test the pack

Check the spark plug first. then if the plug is good you wil need a digital ohm meter to test the coil pack. if you need to know how to remove the coil pack let me know, to test put on ohms should not have more than 2 1/2 ohms restance betweent coil lead to coil connector. If you test the coil pack on both sides of the pack and get a reading then the coil is bad, if it does not read then you haave a bad fireing plate diode.

No fire

should have coil packs instead of distributor, check the power wires (one on each side of coil packs), if they are tight and getting power, the plate that the coil packs set on might be bad, take off and have tested at parts store.
