There is a mark on the head and the gear. Line those up and bring the crank to TDC put the chain on.

i do have some rover manuals here but i will need to know the year and model then i can look in the book for you ,but look on the air intake pipe between the air filter and the inlet manifold and thats where it lives

You should be pulling fuses till you find the draw. Does anything not work? Like the horn or alternator not charging?Is this a diesel check the glow plug relay.

Most vacuum hoses are colour coded nowaday, not sure about your one, so look carefully at the end of each hose for coloured dots or lines that should line up with the ports also

the schematic i have lists the cigar lighter as fuse F47 with 20Amps... try that one out...

first i would like to say is There should be a diagram of the belt's routing somewhere under the hood if not how ever if you can find a chilton manual for your car and the yr they have that in there i have they do but as for finding a diagarm on line sorry but i could not find any
