SOURCE: 1994Dodge Dakota Wont start changed distributor

could be a bad crankshaft position sensor or a bad camshaft position sensor. Either would cause no spark. I would check to see that you have fuel coming up to the throttle body

SOURCE: 92 Dodge Dynasty wont start no spark no fuel

If there is no spark, then there is no signal to crankshaft position sensor. If no power to fuel pump, check relay and power to it.

If you are not getting power to either of them. Then igniitn module or ECM is faulty.

There is spark and fuel up to rail but injector wont come on

sounds like the injectors are not getting a signal to squirt or no fuel . Have a pressure test done on the fuel manifold to check pump, pressure regulator pressure and filters.. check injector connection to ECM

1997 avalon wont start fuel pump when key is turned to "on" position and hencar wont start. Also, the car wont start when the fuel pump is hard wired to stay on. Any ideas

There are still many possibilities. The internal combustion engine is a complex mechanism. The timing could be off. All spark plugs must be firing. They must fire at exactly top dead center. The timing chain/belt must be in good working order, not worn or stretched. The cam shaft must not be worn out so the valves open and close correctly. the valve lifters must be working properly. the cylinder heads must have the same correct compression. A different compression indicates bad valves or head gasket. Piston rings must not be worn out or they will not provide adequate compression. the oil pump must circulate the oil to lubricate everything, and provide fluid for hydraulic lifters. Oil and filters must be clean and the correct type for engine and climate.

Car turns over but wont start what is wrong?

The car is either not getting gas or not getting spark. It could be a weak battery, bad spark plugs or wires, bad coil pack/distributor, clogged fuel filter or spark plugs, or a defective fuel pump. These are the most common causes of this problem and and except the fuel pump and sometime fuel filter are relatively easy to replace yourself. Good luck and happy hunting!

My van wont start, it turns over but acts like it is not getting any fuel. Could it be fuel pump or filter?

did you check the spark if occur when cranking engine, if it have spark, direct fuel pump by shorting 30 and 87 pin off fuel pump relay and check if theres fuel go to fuel injectors, check for pressure, if no fuel, connect voltage directly to fuel pump assembly, if fuel turn s, check circuit, if no fuel goes, check the tank for empty fuel, if you have fuel change the fuel pump including fuel filter
