I'd say the timing marks are not as they should be. This means the chain is not quite in the right position on the camshaft sprocket(s), relative to the crankshaft.

to much fuel check for fuel trim long and short
you need good scan tool for this have it checked
is it black in once you rev hard or just normal

No that will not work and it can burn out the engine crankshaft and rod bearings. Use no heavier than 10W30W. I have seen this happen 1st hand.

If I remember correctly, that is a chain driven water pump. You'll have to take the timing cover off and remove the timing chain to get to the pump. I've done the timing on a Quad4 engine before and I think I would rater set fire to the car than to do that again.
