You could have a stuck thermostat, which is relatively easy to replace. It is located where the upper radiator hose ties into the engine. Just remove the hose and the bolts that hold the hose adapter in place and you will find the thermostat there. Remove it and replace it with a new one.
Hi Patrick, Have a leak test and pressure integrity test carried out on the cooling system and the radiator pressure cap and make sure the cooling fans are operating correctly. Regards John

You should replace the thermostat first as it may be sticking. If no difference then change the radiator cap as it may not be opening to allow coolant to flow to the overflow reservoir. Also make sure there is nothing blocking the overflow tube or tube connections.
If you heard a hiss, that's probably what to look for. With your engine running, wiggles all your vacuum lines around, and try to find that hiss again. It will be a broken or cracked or loose vacuum line somewhere. A stethoscope, or a length of fuel hose held to your ear can sometimes help you find them.
