SOURCE: where is the fuel pump shutoff switch located on a 1996 chevy silverado 1500 located

Should be on the passenger side kickplate below the glovebox and to the right. You may have to remove the plastic panel to access it or look for a small hole in it and feel around for the button

SOURCE: where is the crankshaft sensor located on a 1998

The Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) is located at the lower front of the engine on the engine front cover, also called the timing cover. Through a use of magnetic pulsation, the CKP sensor provides the PCM (control module) with a crankshaft position signal. The PCM uses that signal to determine the spark sequence (firing order) for each cylinder. It also uses the signal to precisely control ignition timing and calculate engine speed, etc. Easy fix and clean the area out first with brake cleaner before working around that area and take care not to break the tab on the wire harness that connects to the crank sensor. Good luck

SOURCE: where are the knock sensors located 2002 chevy

The knock sensors are under the intake manifold, inside the valley cover. You have to remove the intake manifold in order to access them.

Where is the throttle pedal sensor located on a 2002 cheverolet silverado

There is a throttle valve positioner sensor located at the end of the throttle valve shaft on the right hand end of the shaft, the sensor then bolts to the throttle body as you face the engine from the front. A defective sensor will set the check engine light and give hesitation during acceleration.

Need to know where to find/replace the tps ( throttle positioning sensor) pics would be very helpful

sorry can't give you pics but if you have someone press on gas pedal with hood up and you lee what moves the throttle position sensor is attached to the main pivot rod that is moving . it will be on the opposite side of the rod that the wires from the gas pedal are attached. the tps is just like a volume switch on a radio it moves along a resistance board to change voltage from low to high and the computer reads the numbers and converts that into positions of the gas pedal to understand what you want the engine to do. look for it to be at the end of that rod running through the opening that houses the butterfly to the throttlebody. There will be a three wire connector attached to it. Two screws should remove it plus remove connector. Hope this helps if so please reply and good luck

Code p0121 TPS

THERE IS A TP SENSOR BUILT INTO THE THROTTLE ACTUATOR. THESE TRUCKS HAVE BEEN KNOWN FOR A FEW PROBLEMS IN THIS AREA. THROTTLE ACTUATOR IS NOT SERVICEABLE. THE THROTTLE BODY WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED IF IT IS PROVEN FAULTY. THE APP SENSORS ARE LOCATED IN THE GAS PEDAL MODULE. THESE SEND SIGNAL TO COMPUTER TO TELL IT WHERE YOUR FOOT IS, THEN COMPUTER SENDS COMMAND TO THROTTLE ACTUATOR TO OPEN OR CLOSE THROTTLE BASED ON THIS INPUT. THE SENSOR IN THE THROTTLE ACTUATOR DELIVERS A MESSAGE BACK TO THE COMPUTER TO TELL IT WHAT THE ACTUAL THROTTLE POSITION IS. IF THESE SIGNALS DONT MATCH(WHERE THROTTLE IS COMMANDED AND WHERE IT ACTUALLY IS)THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WILL ILLUMINATE AND THE VEHICLE COULD GO INTO A REDUCED POWER MODE. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU!
