Gas gague tank is full 30 min. later check gagues com on it reads low fule later it goes back to full and back to low ?

sounds like a ground proublem try to reach top of fuel tank an wigle wires if helps may have to drop tank to clean ground some times you may see between cab and box take stick to see if loose grounds get croted on them tap it also leave key on and try if it moves at all that is it

hi, your problems sound more like the injectors. Likely the low fuel situation could have caused sediment to get into the injectors and clog them. I believe your engine is the TBI version, not the TPI(tuned port injection) and these injectors commonly will get clogged and the vehicle will run and sound almost like a train, chugging violently. If this is so, see if you can pull the air cleaner off, and get a very bright flashlight, shine it into the throttle bore and watch the fuel flow. One side, or the other, or possibly both may be clogged or not working. You will see the stream will be even and dispersed well if okay, it will be low in volume if not, and may splatter. Do this while the car is running of course. OH, and almost forgot, check/replace the fuel filter first, this may have become clogged as well, it may even be the whole problem. Hope i could help.
