Belt route for a 04 jeep patrioat 2.4 - 2007 Jeep Compass 2.4

the diagram should be on a sticker on the radiator shroud cover or, the hood latch cover.

if your getting your belt from autozone or NAPA the routing is on the back of the package

there ya go - i assume you have a/c and p/s. let me know if you dont and i can get you another diagram.

First note the route of the belt. make a drawing.
Adjustments are made by moving the power steering pump. far right of belt system.
loosen top fixed bolt above center of drive wheel on p/s pump.
loosen bolt below drive wheel on p/s pump.
Push p/s pump to the left to loosen belt.
Remove old belt .replace following route of your drawing.
move p/s pump to right .
top of belt should have 1/2 inch deflection.
tighten bolts
