Multi-Function Switch 4
Wiring to Multi-Function Switch A
Tighten to 2-3 Nm
(18-27 Lb-In)

Installation

  1. Install the two switch electrical connectors to full engagement. The wiring for the switch is to be routed under the PRNDL cable.
  1. Align the mounting holes on multi-function switch with the holes in the steering column tube casting. Install two self-tapping screws making sure to start the screws in the previously tapped holes. Tighten to 2-3 Nm (18-27 lb-in).
  1. For automatic transmission (7003), verify that the PRNDL adjustment is correct.
  1. Install the steering column shroud.
  1. NOTE: When the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the powertrain control module (PCM) relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 10 miles or more for powertrain control module to relearn the strategy.
  2. Connect the battery ground cable.
  3. Check the steering column tube for proper operation.

I hope this helps, if you have any questions just ask

Need schematics for 1989 delta 88 royale steering column

steering columns are tricky bastards, even with schematic they are difficult ton rebuild, my advise is to carefully dissassemble and make notes, i have done many and you need patience, they only go back together one way and sometimes require installation of may parts at once and only in the proper order, have fun

I am looking for the schematics for the steering column on a 1999 chevy suburban

ok there are 2 bolts under the dash 4 on the floor and the yoke your going to have to take off the plastics around the the collum ther are 4 screws and it comes off. there are two sets of electrical clips you will have to take apart you will see a little push clip and pull apart after that it will be free and slide right out. for the steering wheel there are 2 screws behind it that will take off the air bag and un plug it then one bolt and you will need a puller to take it off thats only if you want it.
