Changed plugs and wires on a 94 ford explorer and now it 's not tunning right. need a diagram. please.

FIRING ORDERS NOTE: To avoid confusion, remove and tag the spark plug wires one at a time, for replacement. If a distributor is not keyed for installation with only one orientation, it could have been removed previously and rewired. The resultant wiring would hold the correct firing order, but could change the relative placement of the plug towers in relation to the engine. For this reason it is imperative that you label all wires before disconnecting any of them. Also, before removal, compare the current wiring with the accompanying illustrations. If the current wiring does not match, make notes in your book to reflect how your engine is wired. What is the firing order in a 94 taurus. My mom pulled all the wires out of the distributor cap and we are finding it hard to find the right order. There are 6 rods around the distributor and one in the...

Firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6
You should have a number one stamped on the number one position of the distributor cap.
The cylinders are numbered as follows:
facing your car,
from left to right rear bank 1-2-3
front bank 4-5-6
The one in the middle goes to the coil.
The distributor has 2 mounting that hold it in position. - starting at the back screw to the right going clockwise is 3-5-2-4-1-6. This is the numbering on the distributor if you dont have a number one stamped.
Hope you get it going and tell mom to label the wires nest time!

What is the firing order for a 2006 ford tauras

Sir,
There are two firing order sequences for the FORD V-6. It depends on which engine you have. The first is 1-4-2-5-3-6. The second is
1-4-2-3-5-6. The in-line six cylinder engines use: 1-5-3-6-2-4. You should look at the intake manifold to see which firing order your car uses. The firing order is normally stamped or embossed on the top of the intake manifold.
