Better idea...

Find the blue filler cap ... near the BRIGHT YELLOW dip stick handle...
At that same level... move your hand in a small circle... FEELING for a BLACK PLASTIC cap.... that says POWER STEERING fluid

Go to Bing homepage

But just for A thought... there is such a thing as an ELECTRIC POWER STEERING on a IGNIS: (worth saying)

SUZUKI IGNIS 1.3 EPS ELECTRIC POWER STEERING COLUMN + ECU KOYO Q1T18172M

dont have a handbook with this car

  • Anonymous Jul 23, 2016

we do NOT have IGNIS here in the USA
so no books, no nothing ! on that car.
    where are you,
if you told where YOU are maybe someone could tell you where YOUR Isuzu dealer is.
and go there and buy that missing operators guide , if that is too hard,?
    try getting car serviced.

    are you in Australia?
    where?
we dont have AuZ cars here.
    nada

SOURCE: suzuki ignis 2002 oxgen sensor functions

It gets pretty hot in there, and although hardly any manufacturers specify replacement intervals for oxygen sensors, they play a critical role in providing the ECM with acurate data for best running performance/economy. Change it, as the savings in NOT changing it will be soon eroded by increased fuel usage.

Suzuki ignis 2002 power steering reservoir

Hello Mina Harker,

Saw your comment go in... Problem is...
"IGNIS" (I'm not getting as a USA model (little data here))...
but what I am looking at seems to be RIGHT-HAND DRIVES...

Which would EXPLAIN why I was seeing the PS tank behind the
RHD (drivers side headlight...

I responded there (Jurily Hawrylak's answer) as well... (if equipped) the power steering PUMP... should be quite obvious near the TOP of your serpentine belt (at least on the diagrams I am pulling up).

- Find the blue filler cap ... near the BRIGHT YELLOW dip stick handle...

At that same level... move your hand in a small circle... FEELING for a BLACK PLASTIC cap.... that says POWER STEERING fluid

How to bleed Suzuki vitara power steering pump

As I understand it, if your power steering system is completely sealed with no leaks, you should be able to start the motor, turn the steering wheel back and forth from lock to lock about 10 times slowly, and the system will self bleed.
It will be much easier to do if the front wheels are elevated off the ground.
Remember to keep the reservoir filled.
God bless your efforts.

I have an old suzuki sj 413 , i want to install power steering

The only way you may get this problem solved is to find a late SJ413 which may have had it, and graft it on. Yours will have leaf springs and you'll have find one of the last leaf-spring models at the wreckers. They may not have even come into your country with power steering - they didn't get released in Australia with P/S and the only way to find it was at a wreckers that brings in cars from Japan or the like. The cheapest way to have the lightest possible steering is to stick with the original width and offset rims, and to keep the tyre pressure up to 35-40 psi. The recommended is only 22 psi!
