Are your cruise control, dome, and tail lights also out? If so then it is a fuse. If not then the control unit has gone bad internally. You may be able to get it fixed under your warranty.

Blower resistor Toyota Tacoma 2007 where is locater . How i can replace.

Might be the Resistor pack located close to the blower. Could be under the dash or under the hood, but always close to the blower itself. Usually has a flat connector with 4 or 5 wires, and two small screws holding in the duct. It may be a crispy critter. It happens... The blower moves air across it to keep it cool. The blower motor may be bad as well, or possibly the fan speed switch. May very well be the fuse for the blower as well. The blower connector may be loose. Let me know what you find.

Heater/defrost/ac does not blow in my 2006 tacoma. worked this morning, parked at work, came out half hour later and would not work.

what has most likely happened is that a fuse has blown that is in your blower fan circuit. Check your owners manual, and see if there is a fuse to that system, if there is, check and see if it is blown. If it isn't, then the problem could either be your blower fan itself, or your blower motor resistor. Generally, when the blower fan goes bad, no speeds of the fan work. When the Blower motor resistor goes bad, usually only 1 speed of the fan works. Try the first suggestion i gave, and it everything checks out in the fuse box, then try all of your fan speeds. If one works, you need a blower motor resistor, if none work, then it is most likely your fan. Let me know how it goes and i'll do my best to assist you further. good luck.

2005 Toyota Tacoma will go in 4 wheel drive high, but just flashes 4-lo when trying to enage in 4-lo.

Flashing means that it did not engauge, you may have to put it in 4 LO and let the truck roll a little to get it to engauge, same with the locking rear diff. These lock via electric motor and you may need to move to get it to mesh.

My AC/Heater fan blower just works on high, but when I hit a bump big enough to cause a significant vibration, I can use the other speeds (low, medium etc...). If I hit the bump again it'll just work on...

wiggle the wires behind the control unit to see if maybe there's a loose wire. If that does not work, then try tapping the climate control switch, if it works then you know it's your switch that needs to be replaced. If you want to fix it yourself, just take it out and dissasemble it and clean the unit with alcohol or nail polish remover and try it again on the part (knob) that makes contact with the board. a new unit is very expensive.

2006 tacoma airconditioning problem

Replace the fan motor resistor, which is located in the blower housing, (under the dash, under the glove box) to the driver side of the fan motor. Held on by 2 screws. Common problem. I change a lot of them.
