SOURCE: Dash vents will not blow air

It may be the mode actuator. Have you heard any clicking or other strange noise ? Under the drivers rear seat, in a plastic box is a fuse panel. Remove the two retainers, and the cover. Remove the HVAC or A/C fuse for a minute or two. Reinstall the fuse and this will make the A/C system relearn. Whwn you put the fuses back do not touch the A/C controls. Start the truck and leave it run for two or three minutes. Then try to change the vent from floor to vent and defrost. If this does not work you will need a mode motor. Good Luck

{: ) The popping sound you heard is caused by the sudden movement of an HVAC door, most probably coming from the recirculation door actuator (right dashboard area) or the mode actuator( mid dashboard area). The fan outputs could be normally working, but is being muffled by the incorrect positioning of the HVAC doors, giving an impression that there is fault in the blower controls. In other words, your vehicle is having an air distribution issue.
If there's no conflict in your climate settings, then the trouble may be in the HVAC doors binding or broken, or the actuators faulty or sticking. In both cases, servicing may involve removal of the dashboard to access these HVAC components.

I have 2003 gmc envoy my front ac control does not

Need to check to see if the blower motor is running. If it is,but not threw the vents, most likely a vent door actuator motor. The actuator motor in this case would be bad,it is hard to get to,unless you are mechanically inclined,You can do it your self.If the blower motor is bad, just replace it.Check fuses first, and the blower relay. If I can help, let me know.

2006 Envoy SLT air suddenly stopped blowing from vents

the resister block needs changing... oddly enough i'm unsure of what fan you are saying is not working.... if it's the front.. the resister block is located on the duct work under the dash for the air... near the fan... you will see a connector going into the side of the duct work. two screws and the block comes out... should be fairly obvious for the rear one but it will be near the fan.
