I had a small front end collision
SOURCE: 2000 chevy silverado 1500 4.3 eng
Chevy Trucks, Blazers, S10 pickup and the like will vapor lock ecspecially the 2000 models. Do not tighten the gas cap past 1 click. There is a tube that runs from the top of the tank down and this gets hot and collapses or burns in half. We just bought a reinforced rubber tube cut it to lengh and use it instead of part and it's worked grat for 2 years so far.
SOURCE: car runs great for days, then stalls, won't start.
Sounds as though its a crannk sensor issue. inexpensive and relatively easy to do with the right tool
SOURCE: fuel level sensor ground crossed with fuel pump ground
i think the ground wire going to the gauge is black/white stripe and solid black is pump ground the bigger gauge wires r pump wires and the smaller gauge wires go to the fuel guage
SOURCE: have a 2004 impala 3.8 front end collision
was it like this before the accident and repair? take it back to the repair shop. something is unpluged or incorect part.
SOURCE: my truck shutdown while driving
There's a ground strap that attaches to the frame and a ground wire that goes to the filler neck this needs to be connected or the ground will not work, also you could have blown your VCM/PCM 20 Amp fuse. There is also another ground wire that exits the harness, it will be the thicker of the 2 black wires just behind the drivers side front wheel well. this needs to be grounded to the frame as well, check for corrosion on this wire, road salts do wonders on these. You also need to check the relay. The underhood fuse box is where the relay is located. One of the relays there is for the fuel pump. It will show you on the fuse box lid on in your owners manual which one it is. It pulls out just like a fuse
