Remove the rad support cover, remove the electric cooling fan and shroud, disconnect the tranny cooler lines, drain the cooling system, remove the upper and lower hoses, remove the rad brackets on top of the rad (one on each side), have someone hold the AC core out of the way and carefully slide the radiator up and out

1st go inside the car and remove the rod from the brake pedal that actuates the booster, then look around where that rod goes through the firewall wall, there are 4 studs with nuts on them with, the rod is centered between these studs, sound deadener material may have to be removed to get at the nuts, once that is done, go out under the hood and unbolt the the brake master cylinder from the booster, there are 2 nuts on studs, move the master off to the outside by GENTLY bending the brake lines attached to it, unplug the large 3/8" vacuum hose from the booster and remove the booster, they can be hard to remove, and some other parts like wire harnesses and brackets may have to be pulled out of the way.

remove hub ,take retaining circlip out and knock it out with a big big hammer supporting it on an old wheel rim and a tree trunk.this job is easy to do but unless you have the right tools entrust it to a garage who will have a nice press .

Removal & Installation 3.0L (2V) To Remove:

  1. Drain the engine cooling system.
  2. Loosen the water pump pulley.
  3. Remove the bolt and the nut and position the roll restrictor bracket out of the way.
  4. Remove the accessory drive belt.
  5. Remove the generator.
  6. Remove the bolt and the accessory drive belt tensioner.
  7. Remove the nut, the bolt and the support bracket.
  8. Remove the bolts and the water pump pulley.
  9. Disconnect the water pump inlet hose and the crankshaft position sensor electrical connector.
  10. Remove the bolts and the water pump, and clean the sealing surfaces
To Install:
  1. Install the water pump. Tighten bolts in the sequence shown:
    1. Tighten numbers 1-7 to 18 ft.-lbs. (25 Nm)
    2. Tighten numbers 8-12 to 89 in.-lbs. (10 Nm)
    3. Connect the crankshaft position sensor electrical connector and the water pump inlet hose
    4. Install the support bracket.
    5. Install the accessory drive shaft tensioner.
    6. Install the generator.
    7. Install the roll restrictor bracket, bolt and the nut.
    8. Install the water pump pulley.
    9. Install the accessory drive belt.
    10. Connect the battery ground cable.
    11. Fill the engine cooling system.

What causes loud clunking on 2002 ford taurus front end?

It's likely one of two things... It's possibly a front-end strut (shock and spring assembly) that is worn out and doesn't want to function freely any more.. However, I'd place my money on the problem being with a worn out CV joint. Most times, you'll notice the clunking more as you're turning.. This is sometimes caused by a CV joint "boot" that encloses the CV joint and has worn out to the point that it won't keep dirt and water out of the joint, causing fairly quick problems. In either of the cases I've mentioned, you need to have a shop get involved.... cvc joint Google Search

You do not want to open that can of worms. Getting a belt to do that is simply guesswork, and if the thing does not get routed correctly, you will have pullies that are running backwards, which can cause all kinds of problems.

Here is a better solution: A company named MOTORMITE makes pully assemblies that are designed to replace the existing A/C compressor. You simply remove the compressor and this pully assembly bolts on to the compressor mounts. It allows you to not only route the belt correctly, but also allows you to use the belt that the vehicle was originally equipped with, eliminating the guesswork involved in trying to find a belt that will be the right length and have the correct tension to run things.

I believe the cylinder you are referring to is the rack and pinion steering assembly. The only solution would be to replace it.

Generally just disconnecting the struts (or shocks) will give you enough clearance to get it installed.
I recommend that you replace both though or it is likely it won't sit straight.

Seatbelt jammed passanger side 2002 ford taurus

If you mean that it won't pull out, the only legal way to repair it is to replace the retractor assembly. The ball inside has apparently cocked, as it does in a crash, and is restraining the belt from pulling further out. The assembly is not serviceable. That's why you have to replace it. I have had one apart and seen how it works, but I won't recommend trying to fix one. Take care and I hope this helps.
