I assume you are using the correct grade engine oil, and the oil level is correct.
Changing the oil filter may also be worthwhile before looking further..
Worn engine conrod or mains bearings are a primary cause of low oil pressure, these are usually indicated by rattling or knocking noises from the motor.
Check the oil pressure with an independant gauge - if it is indeed low you will need to look further.
A worn oil pump can also cause low oil pressure.
Almost sounds like an clogged up oil filter,when was the last time you change your oil.
Worn oil pump or cam brgs. Noticed the oil change, what about the oil filter?The oil filter has a bypass in it that will allow unfiltered oil to get past the oil filter if it plugs up. What is your mileage now and how was your maintenance habits? Good Luck. Remember, your cam brgs are the first point of resistance that control your oil pressure, not your rods or mains
