You might want to research Ford 4x4 Clubs or Bronco Clubs and things like Off-roading publications. Ford use to have performance displays at some Dealerships. There are some specialty shops which can shorten rear axles.and narrow rear ends. One thing to remember is that both the front and rear differentials need matching gear ratios. So whatever you do, think of pairs.
In general, the Ford Bronco running gear is identical to an F150 4X4 running gear for the same year. The only difference is the length of the rear drive shaft. I doubt the F250 gear will fit, since typically the F150 running gear is made by ford, and the F250 running gear comes from commercially available parts (Dana, etc).

sticky or broken lockout ,take apart and clean, inspect the center aluminum piece,if the center moves around alot then the lockout is broken,if not then regrease and try it again
It has more than four bolts. You have to remove the drive shaft and all of the linkage from the transfer case including any electrical connections. You can then remove all of the bolts connecting the transfer case to the transmission. After all of the bolts have been removed just remember due to the angle the transfer case is mounted it will try to twist when it is disconnected from the transmission. And keep in mind that the transfer case is HEAVY. Truthfully if you are not a pretty fair mechanic you might want to have a qualified technician do the job for you. Some of the transfer cases Depending on which transfer case you actually have, some of them can be a real pain in the neck to install a chain.
