The panel where the ac/heater controls light up with 2 tiny bulbs placed right behind the round controls that turn the ac/heat on and the one that turns the setting from red to blue. theres 2 screws holding the panel on the dash and those are right under the radio. You'll need some needle nose pliers to get to the bulbs and they sell the bulbs at walmart.

I think not for sure it may be a fuse my 1987 thunder bird dash light heater control panel light dont work the fuse box cover gone can you help me thanks

Your panel lights will come on when you turn your lights on. So if your dash lights come on, then the panel light should be. Remove the panel and change the bulb.

Where is the instrument panel relay located?

There is no relay for the instrument panel. The dash lights and interior lights have fuses. The instrument panel itself is illuminated by the Central Power Module.

A/c panel lights dont work why ?

The heater control panel is sealed so you can not access the lights. They simply go out and you have to replace the panel to get lights back.

No lights work on instrutment panel

Check 2 fuses. Instument lights / panel and also the brake light fuse. Sometimes the brake light fuse blows and you have no dash lights.

Panel lights

The instrument panel lights staying on usually means the dimmer switch is bad (round knob next to steering column movement switch) You can usually turn the knob to a lower position and this will solve the battery issue.
