In a '99 Ranger the purge valve is not anywhere in the engine compartment. Not there. SO, I guess it is above the spare tire...<sigh>..will post when I find it in my 1999 Ranger XLT 3.0L flexfuel. Seems the '99 location is unique
I'm pretty sure the ignition timing is going to be controlled by the engine management computer and is not adjustable. What kind of trouble are you having?
THEY ARE NOT THAT HARD BUT IT IS TIME CONSUMING.
DO NOT FORCE ANY THING! THERE IS A LOT OF PLASTIC PARTS.
CAREFULLY BLEED OFF THE FUEL PRESSURE BEFORE STARTING TO WORK ON IT
Measure the distance from bolt to bolt, and to the center. If they match then, they match, if not you will have to check the numbers with fords tolerances to avoid an axle wrap. But it should fit, maybe just a little stiffer of a suspension from the 4x4.
