SOURCE: remove fuel lines from the fuel filter on a 93 f150 ford truck
There is a special tool used to disconnect the lines from the fuel filter. You should be able to get them at any local automotive shop, i.e., Pepboys, Autozone, Chief Auto. It should be relatively cheap to buy this tool.
SOURCE: just changed fuel line and truck wont start now
there is air in the lines you will need to bleed them out first crack (take loose) the line comming into the injection pump and crank the motor over for a bit this will cause the lift pump to force the air out of that line tighten up when no bubles come out then repeat on injector lines to purge air out of the injection pump this should solve your problems

First Change the pluggs ( I really like the bosch platinum plus 2's ) wires and distributor with rotor if you have one. Next make sure the air filter is good, then take some carb cleaner and spray clean your throtle body till it is very clean. (at your own risk) try a product called SEAFOAM, you can watch on UTUBE how to use it. Also being that is a 1990 there could be some compression problems. get a tester and go to each plug whole and verify that your compression is good. I have heard people getting really good results from Marvel's mystery oil, and doing a soak of the pistons over night. You can look that up online aswell, I am assuming only that you have the ford 2.9 V6. It was never a power house to start with, but using a synthetic oil can help. Also when is the last time you changed the fluid and or filter in your transmission, using royal purple and a good filter can make a big difference in power distribution. change the fluid in the rear also.
Try this and let me know.

If the fuel line has a metal end and you have the correct tool try pushing the hose towards filter and tool towards hose then pull both away from filter. Sometimes you have to pull hard to remove they can be stubborn. If it is plastic end with blue clip pull out center of blue clip then push in on bigger portion of clip.
