If you have a lock not working it is more than likely the complete door latch which contains the door lock actuator. Sold as a unit. Common problem for the door locks to become inoperative.

VW Sharan Mk1 tailgate solenoid pulsing

i have the ford galaxy a 99 diesel ,my problem was the wires in the rubber boot from body to tailgate ,, ,Just to make sure it doesnt lock itself up i fitted a pull wire from the lock to left side that i pull out with a length of wire , then pull the wire .. Most of the locking is controlled by the drivers side lock as is common with a lot of modern cars so you may need to replace this lock ,, its a sealed unit iam afraid so just replace it .like a lot of the electronics i am well known for by passing them like the immobilisor on the fuel pump ,that is all removed and wire straight to the shut off valve ,, Think its the door lock on your car is the problem BUT i could be wrong

Reset computer

If you pushed the car by the door itself or swung the door open hard, you could ha e stretched the door harness and pulled wires apart. There is a little accordian styled boot that 'protects, the wire loom leading to the driver door electronics. I wonder if you have noticed your alarm horn doesnt beep when locking the doors from the remote. Or you can only lock and unlock the driver door only from the driver door. If thats the case there may be an open in the wires leading to the door lock actuator; which controls things like lock/unlock functions of all doors and windows, door warning lights, etc. Have the harness repaired

1985 Chevrolet S10 electrical issue

check the FUSEABLE LINKS AT THE STARTER
on the big stud you will have about 3 wires they are the( FUSEABLE LINKS) plus the main battery cable
check thoses 3 wires they are most likely the problem
to check them SLIGHTLY PULL ON THE WIRE it will most likely streach and pull apart or there will be BLACK plastic juntions that the wire goes into pull the wire from there
to repair cut the wire pass the BLACK juntions
get NEW FUSEABLE LINK WIRE
USE ONLY HEAT SHRINK **** CONNECTORS tape the wire together
reconnect the 3 wire to the starter
hope this helps

02 Ford Supercrew. I have an intermittent problem with my turn signals. When I push the blinker up or down nothing happens most of the time. But occasionally it will work. I was wondering if i could...

It could be a few things....

Turn signal switch is failing, hazard/flasher is failing, or yes, a wiring problem.

Start with the easiest first....replace the flasher and the fuse....even if it looks good. Sometimes reseating the fuse will fix this.

Next would be to pull the steering wheel and check that turn signal cam/housing for corrosion or something with the wires.

Last would be to replace the turn signal assembly.
