Used this for months and it opened and closed each time. Dad got in and whipped the dial from 4 to 0 and now it won't close completely. It gets to the #1 position, then opens back to #2 position.

It may be a circuit breaker. My windows and door locks stopped working, even after checking all fuses and replacing Main Driver side door switch! Found three circuit breakers that you can reset with a paper clip or small screwdriver. They were black with an aluminum cover on top. They don't come out easily, just insert the pin on each one.

the limiter switch on your sunroof has died. common to gm's.
you will have to replace the entire motor assembly as the limiter switch is built into the motor assembly.
you can do it yourself of take it to a reputable reapir shop.

IT MAY HAVE GOTTEN STUCK TO THE RUBBER INSULATION AND DRAWN TOO MUCH AMPERAGE RESULTING IN A BLOWN FUSE. TWO MOST COMMON LOCATIONS FOR THE FUSES ARE UNDER THE HOOD IN A RECTANGULAR SHAPED BLACK BOX. THE OTHER IS UNDER THE STEERING WHEEL OR ON THE LEFT PART OF THE DASH WHERE THE DRIVERS' DOOR HINGE IS. HOPE THIS HELPS OUT. LET ME KNOW PLEASE. BEST OF LUCK.

You would have to remove door panel and remove the two nuts fastening the window to the window motor regulator then slide window up and use tape to hold it up until you can get it repaired

OMG. I replaced the battery in my 06 G6 and had the same problem. the windows would not roll up or down how they did before. I read the answers on here and it does work. Hold up the window switch for ten seconds and it resets. You will have to do it to each window. Worked great. Thanks
