I have had vehicles where the speed sensor, MAF, MAP and throttle body did not let them shift as they should but the vehicle did shift. I have put several links above. Just to make sure if you have check engine light find out the code. Make sure you check transmission fluid with engine on and in park, emergency brake on at normal operating temperature. ( May sound bad but I have had to tell people above 30 about this and they said it was the first they heard of it). I will say the thing which stands out to me is check shifter cable. Check fuses. I did see a link which suggested brakes locked up but I assume the truck is not even trying to move.

TBC - Truck Body Control or commonly known as Body Control Module.

• The fuse for the cigarette lighter is in the junction box under the hood. The red mark in the diagram I uploaded below indicates the fuse location.

{: ) There are two fuses that protect the front IP power outlet or lighter plugs. At the underhood fuse block, labeled CIG LTR 15amps and AUX PWR 20amps. See red arrows on diagram below.
The fuse on the driver side door fuse block labeled AUX PWR2 20amps protects the rear lighter plugs.

YOUR REAR AC AND HEATER CONTROLS SHOULD HAVE RR HVAC FUSES IN THE FUSES RELAYS BOX UNDER THE HOOD IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT.

if you look under the dash (steering wheel) against the fire wall a little to the left is a black box with a plastic nut that sticks out. you can loosen it with your fingers and then just pull off the cover. The inside of the cover has a diagram of the fuses.
