Usually that's the GDI mechanical pump,it's the one referred to as sensor 1.just find a qualified technician who can work on that and to get it serviced

Either check the circuitry , will need workshop grade equipment and expertise , which is the preferred option , or just change the sensor and hope it's that and not in the circuit , no real short cuts with these electronic problems

1998 Lincoln Continental runs rough at idle and stalls out sometimes.It has been doing it more often lately.RUns ok once I get up to speed .Plus I get ok MPG. GOt error codes p0190 & p1131 & p0455.

code p0190 refers to fuel rail pressure (FRP) sensor--circuit malfunction===causes wiring--FRP sensor--ECM
code p0455 refers to evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve --open circuit ===causes wiring short circuit--EVAP canister purge valve--ECM
code p1131 refers to faulty heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) bank 1 which is the sensor in the exhaust manifold before the cat converter

Santa fe 2001- diagnos, P0190 fuel rail sensor malfunction. Car cranking only as if no gas coming in. At first we suspected the glowplug, we replaced new one but still noy working.

You have a fuel pressure or sensor problem.
1 The fuel pump is not working
2 The fuel filter is blocked
3 The pressure sensor has a electrical problem or failed

no it will not ,it may blow the big ends but it will not throw any code ,this code you quoted does not exist in my ford code list but on the universal OBDII

What year , make , model and engine size ? You vehicle does not have a fuel pressure regulator . You vehicle has electronic returnless fuel system . There is a fuel pump driver module which controls the fuel pump with PWM .pulse width modulation.

Code p0190 what is it

There is not a cut and dry one answer fixes it for this code, it has to do withthe fuel supply manifold pressure sensor not reading correctly. Here is the diagnostic info.
P0190 FORD - Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor A Circuit out of range
Symptoms - Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Engine will not start Possible causes - High fuel pressure
- Low fuel pressure
- Damaged FRP sensor (most common)
- Excessive resistance in the circuit
- Low or no fuel
- Wiring harness connector of the fuel pressure sensor
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor
- Vacuum leaks
- Fuel leaking causing loss of pressure

I got a ford fosca 2006 got codes p0001,p0089,p0190,p0490,p0489.p1632,p2135,p0606. what does all thes mean

p0001 is fuel volume regulator control circit/open. p0089 is fuel psi regulator performance. p0190 is fuel rail pressure sensor. p0490 is egr control circate high.p0489 egr control circate low ... p2135 throttle position sensor.p0606 ecm/pcm processor... sorry about some of my spelling.

p0190 is fuel rail pressure sensor curcuit malfunction---- - High fuel pressure
- Low fuel pressure
- Damaged FRP sensor
- Excessive resistance in the circuit
- Low or no fuel
- Wiring harness connector of the fuel pressure sensor
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor
- Fuel have a good day !! check the fuel pressure regulator, this may solve problem.
