It may have an engine immobiliser fitted, just a thought as I cant see why removing a fuse would cause those problems. I would be ringing the BMW dealer that you bought the car from as they may be able to help you without charging you an arm and a leg for something simple that you can fix yourself.

SOURCE: BMW Fused Bulb Warning Light comes on intermittently

This sounds as though this could be either a wiring fault usually found to be a broken wire in the boot lid loom. by the right hand hinge you will find a corrugated rubber hose that houses the loom, you will need to check the wires inside this. also check for corrosion on the ten pin terminal block on the back of the light unit.

SOURCE: i have bmw 525. the wiper was working but suddenly

I have had a similar problem. On mine it was a linkage arm/socket that kept popping out, stopped both the wipers working with one stuck half way across the screen and the other wiper upright against the side of the screen.
Cost £8 for a new one.

SOURCE: after the battery dying in

on the BMW there is an electronic control module that controls all of these functions, sounds like you have a problem with it. Check your fuses, if non are blow there are dealers on e bay that can repair it for around the £70 mark. I have a similar problem with my 3 series

1997 bmw 740i brake lights don't work

Shawnna: I like to start simple so I would pull the lens of the tail light and check and probably replace the light bulbs. Naturally, it could be a short or a fuse problem, but that is the most logical place to start.

check to make sure that you have the correct bulb in the correct socket in both left and right tail lights. dual filament bulbs have to contacts on the base of the bottom of the bulb. make sure the socket that you are inserting them into also has two contacts. if that doesn't work then you need to get a test light so you can find out if power is going to the bulb housing and all ground. check all fuses also with amp meter

Head lights work, brake lights work, blinkers work, tail lights dont, replaced all fuses and bulbs

did you change any relays  swap some relays to see if you can get the tail lights working but something else will fail    do you mean marker lights  make sure you used the correct bulb type  many are dual filament bulbs and will not work right if you used single filament bulbs

1997 328 tail light failure

Hello!

You should check the wiring loom on the left trunk hinge.
It gets damaged very often on these bmw's you won't be able to see if there is damage from outside, you need to pull the protective rubber covering pretty far down to inspect.

If it's damaged any decent audio shop can repair it (or you can do it yourself if you're good at soldering)

after it's fixed replace any burnt fuses and it should be ok

Hope this helps!

Z3 blowing fuses

sound like you have a dishonest dealer. i dont like to say that but somtimes its true. have you pulled the tail lights and had a look at the wiring and sockets. that would be the first place to look. if you dont find anything let me know ill digg up the wiring diagram for ya.
good luck
