Just drain the old and ad new, the radiator drain is i the back side of the radiator tank on the drivers side in most models

Removal & Installation To Remove:

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
2. Remove or disconnect the following:
   • Radiator upper crossmember
   • Fan motor electrical connector
3. Drain cooling system below the level of the upper radiator hose.
4. Remove or disconnect the following:
   • Upper radiator hose from radiator
   • Radiator fan fasteners and upper clip
   • Fan assembly by lifting upward to clear radiator

To Install:

1. Install or connect the following:
   • Radiator fan assembly
   • Upper clip and fasteners
   • Upper radiator hose to radiator
   • Fan motor electrical connector
   • Radiator upper crossmember
2. Fill cooling system.

I hope I am not corect but the dodge engine Mitsubishi has aluminum heads easy to warp and overheat I had three dodge engines with warped heads go for anywhere form 600 head refurbished to 800 remanufactured heads replaced not dealer shop price that would be 1200 to 1600 minimum find a home mechanic have him check the head for warpage do you smell steam sometimes ?? It is a symptom I replaced water pump ,thermostat ,radiator cap, resorvoir , prayed ..prayed but it was the head warp deal ... you can do this yourself BUT replace head bolts and gasket A must when you re install the head
