Relay on 96 mustang

I am not sure exactly what your question is, but the relays in your mustang are located on either the under hood fuse box or the CCRM, which is located in the passenger side fenderwell. To do a bench test on one to see if its working, simply locate the relay in question and unplug it.Look on it's side and you will see its schematic with numbers at either end of two symbols. One symbol will be a straight line with a circle at either end and the other will be a circle with a line running from it at 45 degrees with a circle underneath it when that line ends.
Get two wires and attach one to your cars battery positive and negative terminals. The pins on the bottom of the relay are numbered. Match the 2 pins that match the numbers for the symbol with the straight line with a circle at each end(numbers will be next to the circles) and touch one wire to one pin and the other wire to the other pin. You should hear an audible click. If you do then the relay is good, if not the relay is bad.

Subaru sti faults codes my sti cranks but wont start key symbol on dash flashs

The key symbol on the dash normally will go out when the ignition is turned on, if it doesn't, you have a security system issue as I'm sure you've already guessed. I would start by checking the fuse box under the hood on the drivers' side of the engine compartment for blown fuses, this could be as simple as just a blown security system fuse. The under side of the fuse box lid should have all of the fuse labeling locations, you can also look in your owners manual for fuse locations and definitions. If you don't find any blown fuses you will have to go to someone who has a scan tool that can pull security system codes, the generic scan tools can only pull engine/transmission codes. I hope this info helps...(subytech1)...

2005 BUICK TERAZZA...MANUAL SAYS THERE ARE 2 FUSE BLOCKS i LOCATED THE ONE IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT BUT CAN'T FIND THE ONE THAT THE BOOK SAYS IS UNDER PASSENGER SIDE OF DASH???

It's not under the dash, its' on the side. Open the passenger door look at the side of the dash facing the door opening. You should see a fuse symbol molded into the plastic. Pop this off and you've found your fuse block.

Where is the fuse box on a 2000vw passat

here are some try this According to the MANUAL (:-)) for the 2001 Beetle, most fuses are in a compartment at the left side of the dashboard. Place a screwdriver into the slot to pop the lid off. The Fuse Card identifies fuses with silly Symbols, and there is no Legend (on the card or in the Manual) indicating what they mean.
There are also 3 or 4 fuses in a compartment atop the Battery-box, and there is no indication (symbolic or otherwise) of what they are for.

When you open the driver's side door, it is located on the side of the dash. Just pry the cover off with a screw driver. There should also be a diagram in the cover.
