That light is also tied in with the parking brake, with the key and light on pull up on parking brake pedal to see if light will go off, assuming you have a good brake pedal & not a mushy feel then it's doing it's job telling you have a hydraulic issue in the system. The switch for the parking brake is mounted on the mechanism and a single wire to it,works off a cam with pedal pushed down switch grounds the circuit.
Your cruise won't engage because your brake lights are on permanently. These are on permanently probably because your brake switch is faulty. It's located near the top of your brake pedal.
abs light means anti lock brake system and the light is telling you that they aren't working properly. you still have brakes it just won't be with the anti lock system your vehicle has. you will need to have your brake system checked out.
If you never us it the cables will rust thus when you apply the brake then release it it wont release all the way.try holding the release and pulling the pedal up by hand while the release is pulled
on your brake pedal yuo have a switch to turn off the brake lights when not in use and when depressed turns on yuor brake lights. i would suggest either trying to adjust them on the pedal and if not replace the switch.
possible multifunction switch gone bad for turn signal problem. do headlihgts come on in a dark setting on automatic or not? if they don't come on when it is dark then most likely bad light sensor in top of dash or maybe unplugged if recent dash work has been done.
It should be your brake light switch. There is a little plate welded to the arm of the pedal that has a hole with a rubber stopper. The rubber stopper is most likely missing, or damaged. You should be able to take a flashlight and see the plate and the switch. If the hole is plugged up, you will need the brake light switch, if not, replace the plug.
