The parts store you purchase belt from should be able to give you the routing.

SOURCE: how do you replace a 2004 honda crv serpentine

You will need a serpentine belt tool to do the job properly. You attach it the the belt tensioner, and pull it to loosen up the belt.

SOURCE: location of Idle control valve on 04 CRV

It's not a easy job but I'm pretty sure you had one of those problems where the idle surges if this is the case take out the air intake tube that leads to the throttle body, get a can of carburetor fluid and spray around the throttle body. You will need someone to start the car and hold the gas peddle to 2500 rpm while you do this the car will shut of when you do this, restart the car and repeat the process until half of the can is used up. Now check your antifreeze level fill if needed and reset you check engine light. Now you can take the idle air back and get your money.

1996 Cherokee serpentine belt no moving.

Sounds like you have something locked up.

Take a picture/draw a diagram of serpetine belt routing.

Remove the belt, then try turning each individual item the belt powers to see which one is locked up.

I'd start with the AC Compressor first, then alternator, the belt tensioner, power steering pump, and whatever else is powered by the belt.
